The man who was murdered in Ezakheni E-Section on February 14 has been identified by police as Simphiwe Thabani Mathebula (21).
Mathebula had his throat slit and was then dumped on the banks of the Klip River.
It is believed that he was first murdered before being taken by his attackers and dumped near the river.
Police have not made any arrests at this stage and Ezakheni SAPS are still investigating a case of murder.
