Armed robbers struck at a cash loan office this afternoon and made off with R30 000.
Security officers who responded to the scene said that no one was injured.
An unspecified number of men held a woman staff member at gunpoint at the CC Cash Loans office, in the narrow lane adjacent to the IFP offices off KIng Edward Street.
A manhunt is underway.
