Two houses being burnt down in the Ekuvukeni area has been linked to the discovery of a body in a dam. The person had earlier been reported missing.
The body was found by a member of the community after the family opened a missing persons case at Ekuvukeni police station.
Furious residents proceeded to burn down two houses belonging to those suspected of the murder.
At the moment, the situation is tense and police are patrolling the area. A case of murder has been opened.
