Whizz-kid goes to Kenya for Science Expo

"I am now certain that I will study Computer Science at university"

Whizz-kid Norman Mashiri (17) recently went to Kenya to show off his prowess in the arena of science.

Norman is a learner at Joseph Shabalala Secondary School who has made his peers and educators proud after his trip to compete in an International Science Expo.

“I am a person who likes to come up with solutions to new challenges, seeing that the world is forever changing. This trip to Kenya was eye-opening for me because I had an opportunity to see how other countries make use of their science. I also noticed that in Kenya, they specialise a lot with robots. I am now certain that I will study Computer Science at university,” says Norman.
