Winter Drive 2019 is ready to wrap up
Donors who wish to make winter a little more bearable for those in need, can drop off items at Accounting Solutions on weekdays.
As temperatures plummet, many are bracing themselves for the arrival of winter.
Sadly, there are many out there who will have to do without the comforts of even warm water this winter, and this is the reason Winter Drive 2019 is asking for help.
“Giving is not about making a donation. It’s about making a difference,” says volunteer, Trisha Rajkumar.
All items collected during the Winter Drive will be donated to young underprivileged mothers in the area, and many donations of warm clothing have been dropped in.
Trisha explains there is still a need for diapers, blankets and baby toiletries.
Donors who wish to make winter a little more bearable for those in need, can drop off items at Accounting Solutions from 8am to 4pm on weekdays.
Animal lovers can also make a difference – donations of cat and dog food can be dropped off at the Dundee SPCA.
The last day for collections is tomorrow (Friday, May 17).
