Gala dinner held in Ladysmith to spread awareness about lupus

Directors from the Department of Health and other departments were present and gave speeches

A World Lupus Day gala dinner took place at Donga La Boutique Hotel last Friday evening (May 10). Hosted by the Noni M Lupus Foundation, a large crowd of people gathered in the conference hall to support ‘lupus warriors’ and to learn more about this illness.

With everyone seated in a beautifully decorated hall, the function started off with a prayer and then a well-organised programme got underway.
