Dundee anti-drug protest meeting planned for today

Organisers of the meeting are encouraging residents to use the hashtag #drugfreedundee and show support for the suspect ahead of a court date tomorrow.

Residents are urged to attend a meeting today, to discuss planned protests outside the Dundee Magistrate’s Court tomorrow. Today’s meeting will take place at McPhail Park, on the corner of Douglas and Smith Street, at 3pm.

Monday’s protest will be in support of the suspect linked to the shooting of 3 foreign nationals. The victims are all believed to have links to the drug trade. Organisers of the meeting are encouraging residents to use the hashtag #drugfreedundee and show support for the suspect ahead of a court date tomorrow.
