The learners at Inkosi Mjwayeli Primary School were visited by a delegation from Inkosi Langalibalele Local Municipality on July 11.

Land, air and water pollution was highlighted during the visit. Representatives from the waste management and fire section (Community Service Department) spoke to the learners on the impact pollution has on people’s lives.

Questions were posed to learners and an interactive session was held. The municipality aims to bring this programme to schools in each ward.
