The thick and fast action included relays from anywhere between four by 50-metre relays to four by 200m relays. The gents and ladies of Dundee High faced stiff competition and every race was balanced on a knife’s edge, with the top four runners from all of the participating schools separated by less than five meters in some instances.
The school thanked all the boys and girls for their commitment on the field and their excellent behaviour off the field. It also gave thanks to all the teachers who travelled with to help out.
“With pride, the school can say, with two teams less than all the other participating schools, DHS ended a respectable fourth, only three points overall behind the third placed school.”
