Municipality leads disinfection campaign in Utrecht
Community members have been urged to comply with the lockdown regulations and stay at home.
The Emadlangeni Local Municipality embarked on a sanitation programme in Utrecht on April 23.
Together with the Disaster Management department, Deputy Mayor Ntsiki Ndlovu joined Mayor, Lindile Mhlungu to safeguard the town.
The Utrecht town, taxi tank and municipal offices were disinfected and sanitised. This forms part of the municipality’s efforts to curb the spread of Covid-19.
Community members have been urged to keep complying with the lockdown regulations set by the country’s President, Cyril Ramaphosa, and stay at home.
