Lockdown food parcel distribution in Forderville

The team also delivered 20 more food parcels to residents who are over the age of 60 and could not travel to the office

120 residents from Forderville received a gift last week. This was courtesy of the Gift of the Givers Estcourt branch.

100 food hampers – which included Future life instant porridge, NestlĂ© cappuccino, Lindt chocolates, Manhattan sweets and A-maize-zing instant pap – were distributed from the branch’s office in Protea Road.

In addition, the team delivered 20 more food parcels to residents who are over the age of 60 and could not travel to the office.

Jaaved Khan and Sabera Asmal from the Islamic Medical Association with a beneficiary.

“We were joined by Sabera Asmal from the Islamic Medical Association, who handed out masks. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Vishane Bugwandeen, who assisted with the distribution from start to end,” commented Gift of the Givers Estcourt representative Jaaved Khan.
