Ladysmith KZN: Bakkie rolls on N11 injuring five

Several people were found walking around on the scene.

Five people were left injured this morning when the bakkie they were travelling in rolled on the N11 between Ladysmith and Newcastle in KwaZulu Natal.

At 08h43, ER24 paramedics, along with the Provincial EMS, arrived on the scene to find the bakkie upright on the side of the road.

Several people were found walking around on the scene.

Medics assessed the patients and found that five men and women had sustained minor to moderate injuries.

Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found.

The patients were treated for their injuries and were thereafter transported to Ladysmith Provincial Hospital for further care. Local authorities were on the scene for further care.
