Ladysmith KZN: Carry on following the Covid-19 regulations in 2021
The virus is still with us, so carry on being safe and following the rules

As the vaccine for Covid-19 is not available yet, we still need to adhere to the regulations in 2021.
The virus has hit hard worldwide – financially, emotionally and psychologically, to name but a few ways we have all been affected by the pandemic. A lot of people lost family members and are still trying to carry on with their lives. We are in a position where we have to put self-interest aside and think of the next person.
During the ‘hard’ lockdown, we all had to obey the rules or suffer the consequences. Do people still want to live the kind of life where you have to be constantly checked and reminded about the rules on a daily basis?
It’s important for us to take the responsibility to practice safety and social distancing to combat the spread of the coronavirus, without government having to constantly remind us.
By adhering to the rules, you save more lives. It’s a difficult time, as people are used to going out, visiting family and friends, partying and other social activities. So make sure you follow all the safety measures: sanitize regularly, wear your mask in public places, and avoid crowded areas as much as possible.
This is not the end, so we have a huge responsibility in our hands in 2021!
