A 53-year-old man was shot this afternoon (May 14) in Queen Street.

Three unknown suspects opened fire on the victim.

The man was rushed to hospital in a private vehicle, but sadly passed away on arrival.

The motive for the shooting is unknown at this stage.

Police and emergency personnel rushed to the scene and are currently investigating the incident.
