Residents noticed a man lying motionless at the corner of Thirukootum and Riza Road this evening (August 2).

Police were called and upon closer inspection, it was determined that the man was dead.

According to officials at the scene, the deceased had sustained head injuries and an Investigation will be launched to determine the exact cause of death.
