Home Affairs reaches out to Wembezi community

The programme aims to bring essential services closer to the community.

Residents of Wembezi Township (Ward 17) are receiving assistance from the Department of Home Affairs today (April 4), despite the rain. The department set up mobile offices at Drakensberg Comprehensive High School, providing essential services to the community.

The services being offered are: First-time ID applications for individuals aged 16 years old and above; issuing smart IDs, ID applications for individuals aged 60 and above; temporary IDs and passports; and replacement of lost IDs (this requires an affidavit).
