Michaelis congregation hosts festive bazaar with music and fun

Michaelis Church bazaar offers food, music and fellowship, drawing families for a festive day.

The Michaelis congregation hosted its annual bazaar over the weekend, once again proving to be a highlight on the church calendar. Families gathered at the church grounds to enjoy a day filled with good food, warm fellowship and plenty of community spirit.

The day’s programme offered something for everyone. Meat sales opened in the early afternoon, with fires lit soon after for braai packs and sides. Visitors lined up at the food stalls for traditional German favourites and freshly-baked cakes.

Stalls selling handmade items, produce and treats kept both young and old entertained, while the children enjoyed games and activities set up especially for them.
The brass band added a festive rhythm that carried across the grounds, setting the perfect mood for the evening.

For those looking to relax, the beer tent provided a lively spot to sit back and enjoy a drink with friends.
The festive atmosphere made it not only a fund-raiser, but also a time of connection and joy.
