Games bring fun to mathematics

By rolling dice and drawing cards, students can further develop their problem-solving skills.

Pupils at Hamilton School are rolling the dice and dealing the cards to make Mathematics more fun.



The Grade 7 pupils at Hamilton are using innovative methods to drill their number facts and apply the rules of BODMAS. BODMAS is an acronym that stands for Brackets, Orders, Division, Multiplication, Addition and Subtraction. It’s a rule that helps you remember the order of operations in math. By incorporating dice and cards into their Mathematics lessons, pupils are making learning more fun and interactive.
