Matric Results
Today across South Africa thousands of young people will be anxiously receiving their final Grade 12 results.
Although many matriculants will be celebrating their success and pass, there will also be a large group who will be disappointed by either not passing or not achieving all of their goals.
The pressure of this disappointment is often made worse by the false idea that achieving a matric or bachelors pass first time is an indicator of all future success. If you are one of the many South Africans who have not passed your Grade 12 certificate, it is important to remember that many options still exist for you.
If you are feeling disappointed, hopeless or confused, reach out the people around you for support and encouragement.
As a community we also have a responsibility to support and encourage all of the matriculants of 2013.
Our young people are often faced by many challenges and emotions and little by means of accurate information and positive role models.
