The Animal Anti-Cruelty League (AACL) still has many animals in desperate need of loving homes.
Six dogs were adopted this month and only two cats. Please visit the kennels to find the best friend you’ll ever have.
The AACL would like to remind the public that it is a crime to chain up your animals. If it is absolutely necessary for your dog to be chained, it has to be a running chain where the animal has access to shade and clean drinking water within a large enough area that allows your pet to run around. Failure to comply with these rules will result in a fine.
The kennels need the public’s help in finding ‘Prince’, a Siamese crossbreed cat that went missing from the Hospital Park area. Please contact the kennels if you have any information regarding his whereabouts.
Thanks this week goes to Pierre Massyn, Rika Erasmus, TFS, Spar, Biltong & Braai, and the Ladysmith Gazette.
