I started 5 years ago, with only one little brown house snake.
After that, it all began in earnest. I was interested in different species of reptiles and learning as much about them as I could, for example: feeding, housing, breeding and raising the hatchlings.
I now have 38 snakes, including 9 different species and a number of different morphs. I also have Bearded Dragons, Leopard Geckos, gerbils, a chinchilla and a tarantula, and my collection continues to grow all the time.
Most people are afraid of snakes, but the truth of the matter is that most snakes are non-venomous.
The main thing is just to be educated in identifying the types of snakes in your area.
