Use a white board or a display on your refrigerator to ask a question or offer an encouraging saying each day on the first week of school

Your children will be more excited if they know that they will get something special after school. They will study harder and try to get better results only for it, so you can motivate them this way, if nothing else works. Those little gifts should not be expensive, though.

Something like a new pen or a colouring book. Everybody loves to spend more time with their friends, but during the holidays children rarely spend time together since some children go to their grandparents and others take trips with their parents.
Some new children can appear so tell your kids that they will have an opportunity to make new friends this year. Use a white board or a display on your refrigerator to ask a question or offer an encouraging saying each day on the first week of school.
Write: “Meet a new classmate,” or ask: “Are you excited to have new educators?”
Throughout the week, your child can write his responses to express how he or she feels. Display an achievement tree that exhibits their accomplishments. Draw a tree with numerous brown branches on poster board, and create a handful of “leaves” on strips of green paper. Each time he feels he achieves something over the term he can record it on a leaf and tape it to the tree.

By the term end, they will have created a full, lush tree. Back to school time means a lot of new things. Although shopping with children is a hard experience, ask them to help you buy all the necessary things they’ll need at school. Try to buy some new clothes too.
They will be more excited to go back to school and show new purchases to their friends. It’s really hard to come back to school after long lazy and fun summer days, just like you don’t want to go back to work after a long holiday. Give these tips a try and see what you can do to encourage your children to enjoy learning each day.
