Interested in adopting a new best friend? Then don’t hesitate, as the Animal Anti-Cruelty League (AACL) has a few cats and dogs up for adoption.
Visit the kennels, situated on the N11 just before the Limit Hill robots, to choose the ideal pet for your home.
The league would like to remind the public that the free vaccination clinic which was supposed to be held on September 22 has been cancelled.
Another reminder to the public is that league workers are out in full force when they receive complaints about dogs being chained up, so please don’t chain your dogs.
“Offenders will be charged if their dogs are found chained up,” says Annamarie Koen.
A huge thank you to Pierre Massyn and OBC Chicken for their generous donations towards the league. Any donation – whether cash, food or blankets – is always appreciated by the animals at the kennels.
Cash donations can be deposited into the following bank account: Nedbank, Ladysmith, Cheque Account: 1330077512, Branch Code: 133025.
