Nine dogs and 15 cats are up for adoption at the Animal Anti-Cruelty League (AACL). If you’re in need of a new best friend, whether it’s a furry feline or canine companion, then don’t hesitate to contact the league.
Just a reminder about the annual general meeting (AGM) which is on September 11 at 6pm at Hoffman House.
For more information, contact Annamarie on 0761511784 or visit the AACL premises on the N11 just before the Limit Hill robots.
A huge thank you to Pierre Massyn, OBC Chicken and De Franca’s for their contributions towards the league.
Cash donations can be deposited into the following bank account: Nedbank, Ladysmith, Cheque Account: 1330077512, Branch Code: 133025.
The league takes this opportunity to make a very important appeal to all pet owners to keep their dogs in their yard. “If you have a pet, your yard should be fenced and safe for your animal; it shouldn’t be in the road. Pet owners will be fined for negligence in this regard. Also bear in mind that your dog should not be chained up either,” warns Annamarie Koen.
