Cat food needed at AACL

Lovely Boerboel-cross pups will be up for adoption in 3 weeks’ time

The Animal Anti-Cruelty League (AACL) is still in desperate need of cat food, whether wet or dry.

There are a few adorable kittens and cats up for adoption this week, so if you’re a cat lover, then please visit the kennels.

Lovely Boerboel-cross pups will be up for adoption in three weeks’ time.

A huge thank you to Pierre Massyn for his contribution towards the league.

If you want to be a Good Samaritan, cash donations can be deposited into the following bank account: Nedbank, Ladysmith, Cheque Account: 1330077512, Branch Code: 133025.

The AACL would like to make it clear that it is only permissible to chain up your dog if your dog is considered to be a “problem”. This is the case if the owner feels that the dog is likely to inflict harm on others or often escapes from the yard.

If your dog does not meet these requirements, then chaining is not an option.

“If a pet owner chains their dog, it must be on a running chain where the dog has enough space to run and has proper shelter,” says Annamarie Koen of the AACL.

For more information, contact Annamarie on 0761511784 or visit the AACL premises on the N11 just before the Limit Hill robots.
