Breakwaters clinch angling league title

They claimed victory after a tense finale reshaped the league standings.

The final round of the Mohamed Midas League was hosted at Zaaihoek Dam on February 8, with the outcome set to determine the overall league winner.

Dannhauser AC and Breakwaters AC entered the finale as the main contenders, with several permutations influencing the possible result.

True to its notorious reputation, the dam once again proved unpredictable. Previous rounds had delivered unexpected upsets, and this occasion was no different.
