A Successful IDP Stakeholder Consultation meeting was held at the Ngwathe Local Municipality, Forum Building, Parys on Friday, February 21.

Various stakeholders and municipal officials joined in to address issues and make suggestions in order to better service delivery.

Presentations were given by the Department of LED, Tourism & Project Management & Public works, as well as the Department of Environmental Health & Emergency Services.

The subjects discussed were

• Municipal Health Services
• Fire & Resue Services
• Disaster Management Services
• Environmental Management Services
• Promoting and enhancing the MSMEs sector
• Developing and supporting business co-operatives
• Agricultural development
• Promoting tourism in Fezile Dabi District

Many tough questions were asked and many insightful answers were given.
