Co-operation between the Police and the youth in the fight against crime

The Youth Desk is a sub-division of Parys SAPS Comunity Policing Forum

Parys SAPS is inviting the youth to a Youth Desk meeting on October 22 at 16:00 at Parys SAPS.

Youth Desk is a structure established by the SAPS and the Department of Community Safety to bring the youth together from organisations, churches, schools and the general public to improve co-operation between the Police and the youth in the fight against crime, and to address causes of crime together through projects and activitiees.

The Youth Desk is a sub-division of Parys SAPS Comunity Policing Forum, where youth between the age of 18 and 35 will be represented.

* Education and skills development
* Alcohol and drug abuse
* Unemployment,
* Pressure
* The lack of role models
* Child led homes
* Crime
* Poor/bad role models
* Teenage pregnancies

* Poverty
* Homeless Youth
