2.Iron Maiden
The metal band’s 16th studio album The Book of Souls does not disappoint its loyal fanbase and exceeds a number of previous albums. “Empire of the Clouds” is the band’s longest song to date, clocking in at an incredible 18 minutes. It focuses on the British airship, The R101, that was involved in an air crash in the early 1900’s. The song tells an epic tale through a fantastic opening piano, with violin interlude to build the atmosphere of the song. In true metal fashion, the song is filled with a number of fast and melodic solo’s that complete the song.
