Poem: Peace Rain

Peace Rain by Lodewyk Eksteen

The rain is here.
Drops from the everlasting sky
Bring life and excitement in the hearts of many.
As the charming sun says goodbye and the clouds take over,
A world of nostalgia and emotion awakens.
The slumberous branches of the age-old trees
Sing a song of forgotten days as the wind rushes through them.
And suddenly you have the opportunity to take it in,
To live and embrace and inhale the sweet moment
That so many in the concrete jungle have never experienced before.
Busy with their robotic systems and voice searches,
They miss it again.
They always miss it.
Do you dance in the rain or are you on your way to get a faster charger?
