A colourful and competitive outing at Interschools athletics day

A competitive and fun spirit filled the air at the first-ever Interschools Athletics Day between StudyXpress Potchefstroom, Saints Christian School and Redwood College at the Mooivallei Sports Grounds on Friday, 15 March.

It was an athletics meeting to remember for these three schools who for the first time put together an athletics event.

The day aimed to create unity between the schools on a sporting front and give learners a chance to compete against each other and have fun at the same time.

The sprints, middle distance, javelin, shot put, and long jump events saw some fantastic highlights as the learners pushed themselves towards excellence in front of a colourful stadium that cheered their respective schools on with vigour.
