The executive mayor, Councillor Gaba Thithiba Ka Qhele along with the accounting officer, Kgomotso Kumbe led members of the mayoral committee and department directors and managers during an oversight inspection on various projects in the Venttersdorp region.

According to municipal spokesperson, Jeanette Tshite, The inspection took place at the Ventersdorp Region.

“The leadership visited numerous projects that are completed, in progress and partially complete. Amongst others we had Goedgevonden Bulk Water, Supply, Construction of Roads & Storm Water, Construction of Boikhutso Water Supply (Phase 2),
Renovations of the Ventersdorp Municipal Building, Upgrade of the Ventersdorp Substation, Construction of Roads and Storm Water, Upgrading of the Bulk Sewer Line in Tshing, Construction of Roads and Storm Water, Upgrade of the Toevlug Pump Stations 7 & 8, Electrification of Tshing Ext.10 and Construction of VIP Toilets in Ext 10,” said Tshite.

The next inspection wil be done in the Potchefstroom region.
