Christmas project spoil children with special needs
A few businesses have come together for a Christmas project where they collected toys for children with special needs.
On the 23rd of December, children of ward 12 at the Witrand Hospital, where overjoyed with the gifts they received from an amazing Christmas project.
A few businesses came together for a Christmas project where they collected toys for children with special needs. Rob’s Place Potchefstroom, Tanglewood Nature Estate, The Happy Hooker Pub & Restaurant, and Willshir Security joined forces to make Christmas 2024 one to remember for the children of their selected institution.
Rob Hamman, owner of the above-mentioned businesses, said: “It’s easy to overlook how fortunate we are. It is crucial to remember those who face greater challenges, especially children with mental disabilities. These children deserve our compassion, understanding, and support.”
On the day, the staff of the above mentioned businesses dressed up and went to Witrand Hospital to hand out presents and spent some time with the children.
