The JB Marks Local Municipality has informed residents and staff that its internal systems are currently offline following power interruptions and related technical challenges.

According to municipal spokesperson Jeanette Tshite, the municipality’s Information Technology (IT) Unit is working diligently to resolve the issue and restore full functionality as soon as possible.

During this downtime, all municipal buildings will be affected, which may temporarily impact access to certain municipal services.

“We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate the continued patience and understanding of both residents and officials as efforts are made to normalise operations,” Tshite said.

Residents are encouraged to remain patient while the municipality works to restore services and to monitor official communication channels for updates.
