A Planned shutdown at the Ventersdorp Road Pump Station commenced this morning at 06:00 and will continue until the late evening.

The JB Marks Local Municipality notified residents of Potchefstroom about the planned shutdown.

Jeanette Tshite, municipal spokesperson says this shutdown is necessary for the contractor to install a new 200 kW motor and pump, at the on-site pump station.

• Kanonierspark
• Witrand Hospital
• SANDF
• Dassierand
• Promosa
• Mohadin
• All Ikageng Extension Areas
• Eesterantjies Reservoirs

“We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this shutdown may cause, and kindly request that residents make the necessary arrangements to store water in advance, for the duration of the shutdown. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated,” Tshite concluded.
