A 36-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly raping three girls aged 14, 17, and 19 and sexually assaulting a 10-year-old at an Ikageng guesthouse at about 23:00 last Friday.
According to Const. Kelebogile Trom, Ikageng SAPS spokesperson, the victims’ statements revealed that the man took them one-by-one to a private room where he allegedly raped them.
The 14-year-old said the alleged perpetrator told her not to tell the others. Trom says the 17-year-old and 10-year-old are the sisters-in-law of the alleged perpetrator.
‘The 10-year-old victim said in her statement that the man also took her to a room where he fondled her breasts and private parts. She screamed during the sexual assault,’ Trom reported.
Trom says the man came all the way from Ventersdorp with the girls and booked into one of the guesthouses in Ikageng where the crimes were allegedly committed. According to the victims, the man left them at the guesthouse and they had to hitch a ride back to their home in Ventersdorp on Saturday morning. The victims opened their cases in Ventersdorp.
