SAPS ‘Operation Back to Basics’ in full swing

Last Friday, 9 December the Ikageng SAPS started with roadblocks on the roads entering Ikageng, Promosa and Mohadin in their quest to combat crime, drug peddling and traffic violations over the festive season.

Last Friday, 9 December the Ikageng SAPS started with roadblocks on the roads entering Ikageng, Promosa and Mohadin in their quest to combat crime, drug peddling and traffic violations over the festive season.

Operation Back to Basics will be focusing on drugs, suspected stolen goods, drivers’ licences, driving under the influence of alcohol and unroadworthy vehicles.
According to the Ikageng SAPS spokesperson, the operation started at 09:00 and ended at 18:00 and will continue until the end of January next year.
