The Ikageng police are investigating a rape case after a 28-year-old woman was allegedly raped by her ex-boyfriend at Greenfield at about 03:10 on Saturday.

According to Const. Kelebogile Trom, SAPS spokesperson, the victim was in a tavern when she encountered her ex-boyfriend. ‘An argument followed and the tavern owner intervened and asked her to leave.
‘She left and went to have a few more drinks with her neighbours. After a while, she went back to the tavern to buy more drinks. When she arrived at the gate, the ex-boyfriend took her to his house. The woman says she feared the man and acceded to his commands.
‘At his home, he instructed her to undress and he raped her on his bed. After the incident, she got dressed and went to look for help. The police were called,’ reported Trom.
Trom says no one has been arrested for the alleged rape.
