On Saturday (5 October 2019), the community of Promosa will be hosting the Promosa Golden Jubilee celebrations to celebrate the community’s 50-year-long history.
“Van Makweteng tot nou” will be the slogan of the event.
The celebration will start bright and early on Saturday morning at the Promosa Stadium at 07:00. It will begin with a fun walk and fitness boot camp session. Afterwards, the celebrations will officially start at the Promosa Community Hall, where various stakeholders will educate and inform children and the youth about the history of Promosa.
They will also tell those present of the challenges and achievements that make Promosa what it is today.
Entertainment and other fun- filled activities will be an important part of the programme. The Golden Years celebrations will end off on Sunday afternoon when the adults are invited to a “cool jazz” session, where local DJs will be performing.
