Eskom announced that phase 2 of loadshedding will be in effect today. 

According to Eskom this situation might carry on until the weekend. Luckily Potchefstroom is not affected today (13 August). If Phase 2 continues over the weekend, Potchefstroom’s power will most likely be off on the following dates and times.

Friday (14 August): 20:00-00:30

Saturday (15 August): Safe

Sunday (16 August): 20:00 – 00:30
