Less than 100 active Covid cases in J.B. Marks

According to the latest statistics released by the North West Health Department the amount of active Covid cases in the J.B. Marks municipality (Potchefstroom and Ventersdorp) has decreased to 98.

This is the least amount of active cases in the Dr. Kenneth Kaunda district, which includes Matlosana and Maquassi Hills municipalities.

1 063 091 vaccine doses have been administered in the North West province to date.

The department has urged residents to adhere to preventative measures of social distancing, sanitize, wear mask, avoid crowded place and unnecessary travel.
