Systems down at license department

Both the live scan machines are currently inoperable at the Driver’s License Testing Center (DLTC)  Potchefstroom station.

According to a statement from he municipality technicians had on Wednesday(13 October) indicated that both laptops of the machines have to be replaced.

“A request has been submitted to the responsible Provincial department to ensure that new laptops are supplied as soon as possible. As a result of this occurrence, the DLTC will only be able to assist with the collection of drivers licenses. All other services will not be available pending the replacement of the machines by the Provincial Department of Transport. The Municipality deeply regrets this inconvenience and is doing its best to ensure the matter is attended to,” The statement reads.
