No case of foul play following kidnapping claims

Following a post that was trending online about a young lady (Bonolo Gotya) being kidnapped, the victim went online and dismissed the claims.

Following a post that was trending online about a young lady (Bonolo Gotya) being kidnapped, the victim went on Facebook and dismissed the claims.  “This is fake news guys, I was actually hit by a car that vanished on the spot,” her post read.

According to the young lady, the two guys involved were coming to her rescue when a bystander misunderstood the situation and took pictures.  The original post claiming the victim was being kidnapped has since been deleted.

According to Police spokesperson, Adele Myburgh, Gotya allegedly got into an argument with the male she was travelling with when she decided to jump out of the moving vehicle. ” The victim was not bumped by a car and neither was she being kidnapped,” Myburgh explained.

Myburgh added that there was no foul play and no case was opened following the incident. Gotya, fortunately, sustained no serious injuries.
