On Tuesday, August 16, 2022, the newly elected Chairperson of the ANC in NW, Nono Maloyi returned to his local ANC branch - Ward 13, in Promosa.

On Tuesday, August 16, 2022, the newly elected Chairperson of the ANC in NW, Nono Maloyi returned to his local ANC branch – Ward 13, in Promosa.
During the meeting, he met with the Branch Executive Committee (BEC). Maloyi thanked the local branch leadership on behalf of the branch members for the nomination of him as Provincial Chairperson, not only for himself but also for the entire collective (Top Five positions) who were elected at the first part of the Provincial Conference of the ANC in Rustenburg.
The Elective conference has been adjourned for two weeks and will resume the weekend of Friday, August 26, 2022 – Sunday, August 28, 2022. By doing so, delegates will be able to receive reports from office bearers, discuss policy papers, and formulate resolutions.
Further, the Provincial Chairperson informed the branch that the new leadership would prioritize the following. Organisationally, on strengthening local ANC branches as it is the basic unit of the organisation. Branches must be functional, have regular meetings and must work hard for the ANC in recruiting new members and renewing the same of existing ones which are about to expire or have expired.
The second focus will be on bringing stability to both the Provincial and Local governments. To make sure that they each deliver on their mandates.
Errol E Temanie, the local branch chairperson, expressed the congratulations of the local branch leadership to him, and, in their absence, to the rest of the top five members. In addition, they assured him that they would continue to support and cooperate with him.
In addition, the parties agreed that on Sunday, August 21, 2022 – 17:00 at the Grace Tabernacle Church, there will be a Branch General Meetin
