Vyfhoek Primary principal thanks community for support

"From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you, precious and kind people. Words are simply not enough."

Corrie Smit, principal of Vyfhoek Primary School, writes:

This letter goes out to every individual, company and organisation that has extended a hand and carried us in this time of loss and pain.

We, as Vyfhoek Primary School, are humbled by the overwhelming kindness and love received.

The support has enabled us to get up and carry on with the tasks at hand.

Even though this remains a tragedy and many families and friends are suffering tremendous heartache – and this will be the case for a long time yet – we realise various forms of healing have taken place since the day of the accident. Please keep our parents and loved ones in your prayers.

When we look back and consider everything that has happened, we can conclude that the world is still full of good and kind people who are sincerely interested in the health and well-being of others. One’s faith in humanity has been restored.

From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you, precious and kind people. Words are simply not enough.

God remains faithful, no matter the circumstances.

Be blessed.
