55 Learners were enrolled into the Herotel Entrepreneurship programme and the learners have
shown great potential to play an important role in their community as well as within our larger South African economy.
It is an honour to have the opportunity to build and connect the Ikageng community to fibre as well as to uplift the community with accredited skills development training.

Through inspirational, and practical training sessions, learners were introduced to a world of possibilities, business concepts and skills which orientated them towards innovative business ideas.

The skills development programme was combined with Field Marketing training to support fibre sales in local community.
This approach brought together the ability to employ and upskill the unemployed, reflecting Herotel’s values of Community Heart and Learning Minds.
Not only do we as Herotel connect people through wireless and fibre internet services, but we also help to form deep connections between people as they collectively learn, envision and imagine new possibilities and enterprises.
We are excited to see how entrepreneurs will apply what they have learned in their communities and
beyond.
