Witrand Physical Medicine Rehab Unit to be temporarily closed

Due to renovations, Witrand Hospital will temporarily close the Physical Medicine Rehab Unit (Ward9) from 13 January 2023 to 28 February 2023.

“As a result, no admissions will be permitted during this period for patients who have suffered cerebrovascular incidents (Stroke/head injury), traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, or other conditions dependent on clinical outcomes”, said Dr. Isaac Wana, Witrand Clinical Manager.                                   

Until the renovations of the Physical Medicine Rehabilitation Unit are complete, all personnel will be moved to other wards.

The management of Witrand Specialised Hospital would like to submit their sincere apology for the inconvenience caused.  The public will be informed once the Unit is operational.
