Promosa Primary hosted their first ever career day this past month to showcase various exciting occupations to learners.

According to grade 1 teacher at Promosa Primary ms. Gladys Gerber, the theme “people in our community” was the catalyst for this day where theory was put into practice.

“The main reason for this day was to expose the learners to all sorts of different careers and not to be limited by a certain few. To teach them to work hard so that when they are older , they can become anything they would like to be,” added Gerber.

The day was a huge success as the learners with the help of their parents went all out with different outfits that showcased various careers.

“We also got a nurse as well as firefighters to come out and do a short presentation for the learners,” said Gerber.

Lesedi Banda and Romain Kruger were named as the best dressed winner on the day.
