Four suspects nabbed after stealing 12 solar panels

According to NW police spokesperson, Col. Adele Myburgh, tt is alleged that solar panels were stolen from a farm at about 20:00.

Ventersdorp police with the assistance of local farmers, apprehended four suspects who were found in possession of suspected stolen solar panels on Friday, 19 January.

The four accused, David Moseki (27), Tshepo Nokeane (33), Frans Tladiatsa (41) and Eliot Simango (37) appeared before the Ventersdorp Magistrates’ Court and were remanded in custody until Monday, 29 January.

According to NW police spokesperson, Col. Adele Myburgh, it is alleged that solar panels were stolen from a farm at about 20:00.

“The suspects’ vehicles; a Toyota Yaris and Opel sedan were traced and spotted on the R30 road between Ventersdorp and Derby. The four suspects were nabbed after being found with 12 solar panels in their vehicles,” added Myburgh.
