The 2024 Build It U13 Soccer Tournament proved to be a major success, bringing together talented young players and passionate soccer fans at the Ventersdorp Ground on Saturday, November 23. The event exceeded expectations, showcasing the incredible spirit of youth soccer in the community.

Organized by Oupa “Magent’s” Mothibedi, who also serves as the players’ manager, the tournament was a well-run and exciting affair. Mothibedi expressed his satisfaction with the turnout, noting that the event was a true celebration of soccer and community involvement. “The tournament exceeded our expectations,” said Mothibedi. “It was a fun-filled day where the sport was the big winner.” The final match saw Piano Boys FC emerge victorious with a hard-fought 1-0 win against Tufleg FC.

The match was intense, with both teams displaying impressive skills, but Piano Boys ultimately claimed the top spot with a single goal. The victory marked a memorable achievement for the young team. Mothibedi took a moment to thank the Ventersdorp community for their unwavering support throughout the tournament.
